Premium Construction Standards
We use new "one-trip" Corten steel ISO shipping containers to prevent any structural fatigue. The frames are media-blasted and coated with rust-inhibitive polyurethane primers. Walls are framed using 20-gauge light galvanized steel studs to construct a robust interior structure.
Standard Inclusions: Double-pane energy efficient sliding doors, sliding windows with tempered glass inserts, smart thermostat pre-wiring, full electric panels (100A or 200A depending on multi-unit setups), low-flow luxury bath fixtures, custom quartz countertops, and paint profiles matching premium residential ratings.
Foundation Options & Placement
Shipping container homes concentrate their structural load on the corners. A proper foundation is critical. We support three primary types:
- Helical Screw Piles: Excellent for fast installation, minimal land disturbance, and uneven topography.
- Concrete Pier Foundation: The most standard cost-effective foundation. Corner blocks are poured below the frost line, and container corner plates weld directly to anchors.
- Concrete Slab: Best for flat land where additional perimeter retaining walls are desired or when garage expansions are planned.
