How Container Homes Are Transported
Because our custom container homes are structured from high-strength Corten steel cargo cells, they are naturally modular. We load the completed structural box directly onto flatbed tilt-trailers or drop-deck trailers.
Our logistical team coordinates the entire process: routing permits, heavy-load approvals, escort vehicle arrangements, and trailer scheduling. Once the truck arrives at your site, the trailer tilts to allow the container corners to settle directly onto your concrete pad, helical piers, or pier brackets.
Site Access Clearances You Must Prepare
To guarantee a successful drop delivery, transport trucks require specific roadway clearance parameters:
- Width: Minimum 12 feet of horizontal clearance on all access driveways (free of low branches and fences).
- Height: Minimum 14 feet of vertical clearance to bypass low overhead power lines.
- Turn Radius: Access trails must not have sharp turns. Large 40FT trailer trucks require significant sweeping radius clearances.
