Yes. Corten steel containers are constructed to endure harsh maritime ocean conditions and high stacks. When properly welded to a concrete foundation or screw piers, our container homes are certified to withstand winds up to 150-180 MPH (meeting Florida High-Velocity Hurricane Zone and California seismic requirements).
Financing is available through standard modular home builders, construction-to-permanent loans, and home equity lines of credit (HELOC). Because our models are certified IBC/IRC steel structures, lenders view them as permanent real estate rather than temporary structures. We work directly with top modular lenders to help get your application approved.
The most common foundations are concrete slab foundations, pier foundations, or helical screw piles. The best option depends on your local soil composition, topography, and municipal permit guidelines. Our engineering department provides full structural plans for your chosen foundation design.
